I like Spanx and TC from Nordstrom's. These are the only ones I am familiar with. Spanx to me are very serious undergarments and not pretty at all. The TC are much nicer fabric. I tried the TC panty that comes up to under the bra, along with the control tank top, and felt I didn't need both so just bought the tanks and I love them and wear them all the time. The TC has a nice wide gripper band at the bottom to keep them from riding up.
I'm not familiar with DKNY. I'd try them first since Angie reccommended them and she knows her stuff!

Maybe you can try a longer length control cami without a bra which will solve the roll-when-u-sit problem? Also Target carries the cheaper version of spanx..assets i think. their prices are pretty reasonable ..in the $20-30 range.

Nancy, I have not tried them, but there are some less expensive shapewear items at Target, called Assets by Sara Blakely. It seems like the styles mimic Spanx. I have found that Spanx work and last quite a while, so they may be worth the investment. DKNY, as Angie suggested, will also be great quality and will last. I can say that the Spanx don't roll down.

Thanks. I know there are many brands but wondered if there are any of you who have used a brand that would work for me a size 14 and hold me in without rolling?
Many of the brands I have found either have very light control and I def. need more control and/or include a bra which I do not want as the bras tend to either not fit and also have seams across the bust which is not a good luck under knit tops.

There are loads, Nancy. Try DKNY for starters.

I know that Spanx is great but its also very expensive. I am looking for shapewear that will suck in the roll around my middle and come right under my bra and not roll down when I sit, etc. Any suggestions of brands other than Spanx that do this?
