My tummy is my biggest fit issue. I too have bloating issues (and a high waist) and can find that any pant must fit a rigorous sit test. Pastel stripes were my jam. Remember Benetton? So much candy. <br />&nbsp;Comfortable jeans are a goal. Same tummy problems, I get Uniqlo all cotton jeans in a size up to have a lot of room to breathe. They don’t bag out as have no stretch. &nbsp;I like the legs standing a little off the body, also. They don’t bind when you hoist yourself into a truck, and you can squat without fuss.&nbsp;<br />I keep an old, worn in pair of rigid (now soft) men’s Levi 501 denims around that have straight legs, but that is it. Since we are discussing wide leg jeans, I figured I would mention these from Boden. I brought these up in Star’s thread. </p> <p>The rise is lower than what they have been offering recently, which is why I went for them. They are very comfy, which is great as I need ease through the tummy; a lot of my other jeans feel often tight because I tend to bloat. They seem fine when I get them but aren't always wearable.</p> <p>These come in four lengths and three colors. I may get the dark ones. </p> <p>I happened to style them today with a Boden knit top from a previous year, and pink Ecco slip ons. Perfect WFH outfit. </p> <p>I am still lurking around, by the way - just been focusing a lot of my time lately on a TV fandom I’ve joined. (Yes, at age almost-44! But I’m making real-life friends from it too, which I’ve desperately needed since the pandemic. Most of my friends live in or moved an hour or more away.) </p> <p></p> <p>ETA - ordered the darker wash, which are low stock. I just culled four pairs of jeans I am no longer feeling and put into holding another pair that feels too tight on the belly, so I feel okay about this. I need things that are comfy to wear at home but that are nice and make me feel polished. </p>
