I often find jackets don't hang right on me with just a cami or tank underneath, especially ones designed for F/W. I have the same issue. I thought too that, being cotton, the jacket might stretch and mould to my shape more over time (a bit like denim). But I will look into alterations next year if it bothers me.</p> <p>Lisa, if it bothers you I think it would be worth getting a quote on the alterations before you decide to send it back. It would be so nice to be able to wear the pants as a suit. I don’t have buyer’s regret because the chances of getting a cotton velvet, lined jacket of this quality here for less than $200 are pretty close to zero. I wasn’t even going to try the jacket, because I thought the shoulders would be too tight (but gave it a try as Angie said it has a lot of stretch.) The shoulders are fine I think (am wearing just a silk cami here, but any light top without elaborate sleeves would be fine.) I do think however that the biggest fit issue is that the jacket is cut for someone more well-endowed. </p> <p>Looking forward to advice and comments </p>
