My only 100% viscose top has been great( can link to the post at the bottom of Angie's blog post). I've worn 5 more times since then and washed it at least 4 of those times. But it is thicker looking than the tops you show. Maybe thickness makes a difference ?

Ironing. (Sigh.) I don't mind ironing silk and linen but viscose is tricky.

I had one with the same fabric content from few years ago, but it required lot of ironing to look decent and did not last long. I don't think that I will buy ragain. But mine was a solid color, maybe patterned will not show wrinkles so much.

I am always tempted by the Ravello tops but never bought one because I find them too pricey for something made of viscose. The addition of silk to the blend makes them enticing. Greenjeans, if you get one, let us know how it goes!

Ooh, lovely pattern, Viva! Let me know if you go for it.

Great viscose post, Angie. Thank you. Totally explains my disappointment in latest Boden viscose purchase which did not wash well but is still hanging in closet because I adore the pattern (teal camp shirt with pink polka dots).

Thanks for the feedback, Christina! Based on your feedback it sounds to me like the addition of silk to the mix helps the viscose quite a bit.

You, too, Jane! Boden does prints and color beautifully and my own viscose blouse was fun to wear while it lasted, but did not last long. Just glad I didn't pay full price.

I am willing to try the viscose/silk mix, but will wait and see what's still available when these go on clearance, I think.

Ive had a few goes at these tops (navy, blac, grey spots). They haven't lasted for me but do look lovely as a short term purchase. I also found ironing them difficult because I like neat pleats around the neck and never quite managed to achieve.

I have a similar one but in the v-neck style. It's got the same fabric content. It's held up well after probably 1-2 washings, so I can't speak to heavy use.

Hey, this question is for anyone who has owned a newer Boden Ravello top. How has the fabric held up for you? I love the cut, but owned a 100% viscose top by Boden in the past that didn't hold well up for me. The current Ravello fabric is a 63:37 viscose/silk blend. Have you washed? Do you like? How has it worked out for you?
