The 'Phoebe' cotton dress was a stiffer knit that didn't have stretch (and was tight across the chest and shoulders) whereas the 'Louisa' was a soft stretchy jersey and provided the ease that I needed. I wear a size 8-10 in North American sizes, and ordered 12 UK, and kept the 'Louisa'.
