Shoes that tie on top usually do not work for me unless I can remove the shoe laces and the shoes will still stay on my feet. I suspect that the memory foam keeps the foot sitting higher in the shoe and forces the top of the foot against the top of the shoe when walking.. A slipper shaped like a ballet flat or even a loafer that is not too high is a more dependable choice for comfort. The top of the foot is open.<br /> Kkards , I have never tried QVC but that would be helpful. I need new slippers and intended to get some last fall but never found the right ones.. I have silver metallic leather ones with a faux fur lining that I love. I wish I had duplicated.
