But I got a pair of pewter ones this year and I think they are fun. The Sperry's weren't super comfortable for me; I think it was the grommets rubbing on top of my foot. I got a pair from Bass. I have a pair in classic dark brown and think they look fun and retro preppy with the right outfits. I like them with shorts and skirts best, though I will wear them with skinny jeans too. I frequently add a blazer or something to keep them from looking too casual.
