Yep, for sure it's one of your neutrals Mo! Remember that capsule Angie created (at the beginning of spring maybe) that included blush? It can be a very versatile color, as you have already found out.

I already think of blush as a staple neutral for you, Mo. You wear it incredibly well - and I don't think it's an easy neutral for many of us to wear in general. (I look awful in it!) I also admire how you can wear blush with other soft neutrals, but also punch it up with brighter colors too. Such creativity!

Yah an aha moment. Looks like a gorgeous neutral and since it plays so well with you it has the benefit of being really flattering.

I just love that top on you so much. It's also one of my favorite colors, and as I keep buying variations of it and similar colors, it naturally forms capsules.

I am on the blush court . . . a princess I think lol! But I never viewed it as a neutral, duh [smacks forehead]. I saw it as a color just like I do my cobalt or red. Your posts got me thinking of it in the neutral vein. And I can see when I line up the pics that, indeed, it does play like a neutral with all the other colors. Guess this is my mini aha moment, thanks to you Suz!

I already thought this WAS one of your signature colours! Didn't Angie crown you Queen Blush? I know that Khris also wears a lot of blush, right? Her colouring is different, but similar enough, perhaps. The undertones of the skin are pink; the hair has reddish highlights but underneath maybe has a cool tone.

I LOVE this colour on you. And I think of it as a light pinkish taupe. I would buy things in this colour and try to wear them with my other taupes. I don't know if it would always work, but I'll bet it would work quite a lot.

Okay, so we look to our skin too, to find neutrals? I'm ending up with a lot of neutrals... LOL!

Thanks for the thought-provoking question.

Angie, yes, these are taupey blush. I have true blush pinks as well, but don't think they play as a neutral like this color for me. But I think I may look for more of this color with this revelation!
Dianthus, my coloring changes quite a bit depending on if I'm covered up all winter in Tahoe or running out in the sun in FL. I'm never sure on the warm/cool thing either, so I just gave up ! It doesn't really matter to me as long as I feel good in a color, you know?

I have trouble with the warm/cool skin tone question. To me it looks like your skin is on the warm side and some of the tops are on the cool side with the pink undertone. The last pic seems like you are not as tan and then, it looks cooler. I am looking forward to reading the other comments to see how they see it.

Well. Your blush looks a little like taupe. Perhaps you're a blushing taupe!

Jenava's neutral is blush so it makes perfect sense

I was marveling at Suz's taupe posts and started to wonder if maybe blush is my version of her taupe? I don't have a lot of it, but what I do - I absolutely love. And it seems to go with many colors, warm and cool. Not sure if it mimicks my coloring. Am I off base here?
