I may have to investigate these as the French sole lace-up ballet shoes I recently ordered/returned did not fit well. </p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/blush-lace-up-flats-review#post-1620838 Thu, 25 Feb 2016 21:02:27 +0000 Tanya 1620838@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>I have just received these blush&nbsp; lace-up Jeffrey Campbell Atsuko shoes and couldn't be happier with them!&nbsp; The color s a very pretty pale mauv-y blush, definitely on a cool side.&nbsp; For someone with pale skin like me they can function both as "nude" and as a pale pastel.<br />The reviews on the Nordies site stated that they run 0.5 sizes small, so I ordered them 8.5 instead of my usual 8.&nbsp; They reviewers were indeed spot on as 8.5 fit&nbsp; me really well.&nbsp;&nbsp; <br />The shoes look like flats but actually have an 1" hidden wedge.&nbsp; I tend to look for these types of soles as I find completely flat flats uncomfortable.&nbsp;&nbsp; I am very happy to report that the shoes are very, very comfortable.&nbsp; The suede is very soft and does not rub anywhere, including the laces.&nbsp; The insole is soft, squishy and padded.&nbsp; The toe box is of medium width and not very pointed. I wore them around my apartment for a while and no problems of any kind.&nbsp; And I expect that the perforations will be very cool in the summer as I can not wear open-toed shoes to work.<br />I am happily keeping them.&nbsp; There are solid, non-perforated styles available in many different neutrals too.&nbsp; If these turn out to perform as good as I expect them in the real world, I may duplicate them in dark, solid neutral later in the season when they go on sale.&nbsp;&nbsp; </p>
