I will remember to bring cash for a tip - the salon where I get my eyebrows done also only takes cash for tips, it's a little annoying. I hadn't thought to see if where I usually get my haircut does blowouts too - I didn't want to pay the cost of a full haircut or anything.</p> <p>My grandma used to get her hair washed and set at the "beauty salon," I'd forgotten about that. Everything old is new again... She loved it! She ordered her look of the "menu" and was very satisfied. Lasted through Monday, then she washed Tuesday morning, and that's after she got it done Saturday morning. I've never been to such a place - any clue about how much you should tip, the same as a haircut, 10-15% of cost? Or any other things to know about the logistics or what to ask for? I'm not aiming for a special occasion look, just more pulled together than I can manage by myself. </p>
