Lately I’ve seen some cute things but not all hit the mark for me. </p> <p>The first Find is a blouse I DID buy for my “ olive capsule” and for “ tops to wear with polished blazer/ jacket ensembles for meetings and such. Real shirt collars tend to fight with my jackets. I actually like “ popover” styles with shirttail or curved hem because I feel like I can wear them untucked, more so than full length buttoned plackets( also covered plackets tend to work sometimes).<br /> The next blouse is not Talbots but is an Angie pick I’m trying, but have not decided. Waiting for a smaller size to come in. The colors go with loads of jackets and cardigans, but the fabric is a little bit glassy, so not sure I will like. </p> <p>Last 2 are fun Talbots and showing for cat and bird fans. I would ALMOST get the bugundy cat print but..I would love the cotton feel but this one will wrinkle a lot and also I’m picky about the collar style-/ it’s not my fave type of real shirt collar. The colors would be great, though.<br /> Also the swan print would be fun but I don’t need “ it. I don't need loads of polyester tops , but will get occasional ones that “ make “ an outfit and have specific features. I’m not completely anti- polyester at all, but for me it’s weird— it’s HOT and COLD. It’s hot and sticky outside in summer, but isn’t warm for me in air-conditioning or cold weather- not cozy enough. </p> <p>Hope these are of interest to others who might be blouse/shirt -shopping. </p>
