A woman had brought an old, fleece lined, plaid jacket at an estate sale for a few dollars. It had been worn by Carrol O’Connor in his starring tv role as Archie Bunker. She wore it regularly to walk her dog. The appraiser told her it could bring $10,000-$15,000 at auction and she should insure it for $20,000. Of course, she was flabbergasted and thrilled.</p> <p>I’m sure none of the clothing items worn by me or anyone I know will ever be that valuable! </p>
