Often I just cannot figure out which of 2 sizes. Even with tailoriing options, I can be torn between whether to use an item for fluid or drapey fit vs. more tailored. I'm going to wear them for about an hour and see how they look and feel. At the end I'll decide if the smaller size will work or if I will have the larger size tailored. Either way, I can't wear the larger size as is. I have a pair of plaid pants (mine are ankle pants) and they fit me like the smaller size fits you - slim through the leg. I almost think you could go in&nbsp;between the two sizes - smaller through the hip and waist (like the smaller size), but a tad bit looser&nbsp;through the legs (between the smaller and&nbsp;larger size). Although with the leather yoke involved in taking in the waist, the cost of altering these so they sit better on my waist may be about the same price as the smaller size so I'm not really going to factor in the cost in my decision.</p> <p>However, I do like the fit of the legs on the larger size (more fluid) so when I take my new red coat to Wonder Woman after work today to have the sleeves shortened, I will ask her about these trousers.
