They are a little big though and don't stay on my foot, so I'm going to get some heel grips tomorrow and see if that helps. I hope so because they are definitely very comfy in the toe box and I will be disappointed if they still don't work. I would try a 36 but it is no longer available. </p> <p>These wedges have nothing to do with my interview and are just me experimenting with new things. I noticed that in heels, my toes don't seem to pinch though the ball of my foot does get tired. I prefer a cooler blue gray. I like a lot of contrast in my shoes too, for some reason. I ended up going with the pewter Brulees over the champagne because the champagne didn't have much contrast, and I haven't really jumped on the nude shoe bandwagon for the same reason. I was looking for what might be a more comfortable version of the DKNY shoes I tried. The heel on those shoes, although very sweet with the shininess, was rather hard and heavy so I could see my feet tiring after walking in them. Since shoes are hard for me to find, I try and go for the most versatile color, and sometimes this means black. I'm not afraid of color by any stretch. It's just that if a pair of shoes comes only in black and some other colors that don't work in my wardrobe (like olive green or brown), I'm inclined to go for black and I feel silly rejecting a perfect pair of shoes over color. Some shoes also look better in a more muted color to me, and black has the bookending effect on me since my hair is black. </p> <p>When is black okay and when is it just sad and boring? How can I make my black shoes NOT look sad and boring? </p>
