The alteration has taken some of the fullness from the front. Standing still it looked fine but in movement it looked very tent-ish. Now there is more consistency in how the dress falls and looks. It may need one further small tweak but need to give it a good press to double check how the altered seams sit. </p> <p>Gryffin, I think my lady actually enjoys my alterations. She says I bring unusual items in to her and she is often surprised at how good something looks after my requested tweaking:). Took it to my lady who has taken the dress in. It still looks oversized but I think it has a nice slimmer line and not so much fabric in the front now. I am hoping this now reads as intentionally oversized where before I think it just looked too big.</p> <p>If you have time it would great if you could take a look and let me know if you think this is better.
