My Italian cousins were super alarmed by sweet potatoes and pumpkin pie (we had to smuggle some produce in with friends), were positively over the moon by a whole roasted bird and the stuffing, and we discovered that Italian vegetable dishes go great on the Thanksgiving plate. (We have a LoT of rain in Taipei). It’s practical and easy to wipe off, and the soft shine or gleam seems appropriate in the gloom.</p> <p>Thanks for all the pixie love! I’ve been cutting it myself so I’m glad to hear it doesn’t look insane. The color is just that bottled stuff that slowly lightens from hair drying heat or sunshine.
