I think that turned out really well. The white pattern in the dress lightens it up a bit and the skinnies and leather jacket were there for warmth. It would even work with a shorter dress too, because of the jeans. I was just noticing that if your shoes didn't have straps, they's look kind of like d'Orsay flats (something on my HEWI list).
