We were shopping for specific clothing, and were focusing on fit, need &amp; mix/match versatility. Price was secondary, though we were thankful to find what she needed &amp; was willing to wear at prices I was willing to pay.</p> <p>Kudos to Kohl's for how they handled the crowd. The store was packed, and no shopping carts were available. The line was long, and we had to go to the very back of it. I was afraid we'd be standing there for hours, but checkout only took 30 minutes total (start to finish) thanks to the way Kohl's handled the lines. They had it roped off, with an employee standing there showing each customer which register to go to. I was struck, actually, by all the really big one-day discounts available online Friday, at places where I shop like BR, AT, Lands' End, Eddie Bauer, etc. I didn't really have any budget left for clothes this year, but I will keep it in mind for next year. If I had kept my fall clothes budget intact, I could have stocked up on a lot of needed items for 40-50% off. On BF I bought the Joe Fresh tweed jacket and denim jacket (pic 3). I also got the Levi's trucker denim jacket (pic 4). I'm thinking of returning the Joe Fresh one, because I like the Levi's one better. It was more expensive, but I like the longer length and the tapering at the waist which gives a more feminine fit. The last photo is the JCP cotton/silk blend button down I scored for about thirteen bucks. Once I was out it wasn't that hard to go to one store, one department.)<br /> Yesterday he got out (again) while I was still sleeping, found a deal on kitchen appliances and came home and dragged me out of bed. Unimpressed with his choices, I agreed to go to Sears. He's at it again this morning (Saturday), looking afor a microwave to coordinate with yesterday's Sears purchases: frig, stove, and dishwasher!
