I have several pair of barrels and actually have 2 of this particular pair because I love the fit so much ( black and blue ) . I think you might find many barrels too short for you especially given your small size - unless you can find them in a tall . I’m wearing a 26 in these because they are stretchy and fit generously . Which reviews are you referring to ? I think it was from a sample sale and was a great price &nbsp;- so it's paid its way, even if it only gets worn 4-5 times a year.&nbsp;</p> <p>It's funny, I found , once again, that the less I try with an outfit , the better I feel. Your animal coat it is really a showstopper and teh new boots are looking yummy, too. <br />Interresting enough, I have a beautifull yummy juicy rich brown&nbsp;(more cognac shade)&nbsp;pair of flat leather booties&nbsp; bought a few years ago and I never wore it to date as they are same shiny as yours here- almost like patent!</p> <p>&nbsp;Now, you have to know I like patent shoes and have several loafers in this finish but all are darker black, navy or burgundy and use them daily with my sirts with black sheers to blend in a column of darks lengthening my legs but&nbsp; I juyt didn't realised that the cognac browns will be such an accent on my legs....but I didn't have any brown outerwear either to match or bookend with. I have brown sweaters but you get to see them indoors, only. The selfie in the car shows actual colour (had to crop out my face because have you ever seen a pic of yourself in day light ??? Holy crap, not a good look.)  I was <b>on the fence about these boots </b>as they look kind of fake and shiny  and synthetic (they aren't) , but they are beautifully constructed , <b>warm, and comfortable even with the heel.</b>  I've had them for about a month and this was their first outing - they will work well as a winter (not fall or indoor)  boot.   It seems to have gone from lovely fall to bitter cold here overnight, and I <b>could have used a scarf</b>.  Now I need a taupe-ish or brown scarf to wear with this coat - lol.</p> <p>coat - ancient, Olsen <br /> sweater - Aritizia plush cashmere from last year <br /> boots - Ecco <br /> bag - Fendi- 24 years old now - eek. </p>
