kkards/carter: I knew I had waited to long to buy a trench. URGH. But this helps in many ways. Big thanks to both of you! Helpful beyond words.

It's 57 degrees in Atlanta right now. A sweater or blazer will get you through afternoon temps just fine. Mornings and evenings, a trench coat or all-weather parka type layer should be fine.

when i lived in charlotte i wore a lightweight wool trench coat for most of the winter months. i don't think a blazer will be warm enough, especially at night, (i just looked and its going to drop to 30F Tuesday night)

I'm late in planning what to wear on this trip. Leaving on Monday. I don't need to be corporate, I'm in a more creative field and need a style that is a step up from casual. I'll be wearing some combinations of ponte pants, light weight knits, longer gray blazer, maybe a long sweater, chelsea boots, flats, scarves. But what about coat vs. just having blazer and heavier long sweater for warmth? Any and all ideas welcome. Hoping to take some pics of outfits later or tomorrow.
