Celia, it has taken me a long time to get to this point.  I still make a lot of mistakes, suffer from Fear of Missing Out, am forced to accept the price in the moment when I am there vs hold out for a better price/bargain hunt, BUT I will say I have narrowed down the targets of my efforts to the stores that work for me.  I lucked out to be in town for clear the racks (I didn't even realize until the SA told me). I will say it is quite fun to see the things piling up in the hotel room and seeing how they work together! :) This time I knew I would be doing a lot of shopping so I didn't even pack much to begin with.  I wore most of the jeans on the trip along with the EF sweater and Chicos poncho, and the Pikolinos boots.  So I road tested them right then and there.  Happy to say they all worked out well. You might keep an eye on Amazon, I saw yesterday to my demise that the ones I just got are way cheaper now. It's like a chore - but a FUN one!!  I look forward to visiting my favorites, I've let it go that I have to cover every possible place. I simply don't have the time.  I keep it to the stores that have worked well in the past - Rack is now going to the top of that list (it had a firm spot, but after this trip especially with the shoes, it's at the top). So glad you like the purchases.  We have similar style so I'm happy to get your seal of approval :) Re Pikolinos, I think we have similar feet - high volume, med to wide width.  I have two pair of Pikolinos now and both fit like a dream.  The Veronas are slightly more comfy than the other pair (black) but both are high quality.  They come weatherproofed already, too, and the leather is quite sumptuous.  I am a fan. Yep.  Trousseau shopping, it is. Love every pair of shoes.  They are quality items at bargain prices, and comfortable, updated classics, too! Sveta, glad you are squealing along with me!  I will wear the AGLs in your honor.  :) Joy, yes, it was at the one by Oak Park Mall.  I was there earlier in the week, a few days before clear the racks.  I don't know if I hit it at the right time or what, but I found several pairs of shoes from the main line store that had been moved to the Rack for clearance - like the Tory Burch shoes and the AGLs.  Ones I don't normally see there.  The sales associate actually tipped me off on the upcoming sale and offered to hold them for me, I was shocked and excited and as usual pleased with the customer service. Helen11, as I mentioned to Joy above, I didn't even know the sale was coming but I got lucky when a friendly SA saw me and started chatting (maybe my shoe choices drew her to me? HAHA).  I am just a normal customer that happens to do a lot of shopping at once (bc I live outside the US now and shop when I am back). Glad you like the haul  I could not believe thos AGLs were at Rack on clearance and extra 25% off, seriously, it made my shopping week!  Italian leather sole shoes for moi?!!  And Tory Burch too?  And the sparkly ones too?  Imelda Marcos in training here. I wish I could have found the original ones you had (sofft) but it's a season or two back, these will just have to do.  They were much better fitting than I anticipated so that was a nice surprise for me. I've really cut down on my local shopping lately and haven't been to the USA in nearly 6 months so what does that mean?  I'm overdue for some binge shopping!!!  LOL Here is part 1 of the haul - SHOES!!!  Most were found 2-3 days at Nordstrom Rack before Clear the Racks, the kind SA informed me they would hold my selections and charge me the first day of the sale - so 25% off sale prices, woo hoo!!! The pikolinos cognac boots I spotted last year and regretted not getting; luckily found on Amazon.  Super comfy.  No funny lines like the others I tried. Cole Haan black patent peeptoe wedges to replace worn out flats.  Thanks to Manny I've decided small wedges will be better for me that totally flat shoes (my feet will be thankful, too, I believe). Cole Haan animal cap toe print wedges, a direct replacement for worn out flat animal print of the same color. Sofft wedges, copycat of Suz.  Only $30 at Rack The beauties..........AGL flats........found at Rack for $89!!! SCORE!!  Metallic silver sheen with a pointy toe with a pattern just on the tip.  Remember that post about your heart pitter pattering when you see a shoe in your size that you just pray fits you?  Yep, had that exact experience.  I almost squealed with excitement in Rack when they fit!
