Runcarla- thanks for posting your thank you as it brought this brand up again and reminded me to try it. I love it. Great as an all over, quick absorbing moisturizer and a good facial moisturizer as well.

YLF has the best information!

Oh, yay! That's simply amazing. There is nothing like feeling confident about your skin. People might tell us it's no big deal to have a rash or a break-out. But we know differently! I'm so glad you've gotten such good results.

RunCarla - I am thrilled to hear that the CeraVe is working for you!

Meanwhile, it was Angie who introduced me to this brand, and after hearing about it on YLF, I decided to order a bunch of CeraVe products on her recommendation.

And you know what? The cleanser and lotion worked beautifully for my husband - after all kinds of not-so-great prescription creams and so on. It really was kind of amazing that just switching to CeraVe moisturizing cleanser and the occasional swipe of CeraVe moisturizing lotion eliminated my DH's rosacea bumps.

The neat thing? That a simple, and very reasonably-priced drugstore-brand, "CeraVe" is what cleared up my DH's rosacea.

...

Not sure what your experience was, but as soon as Angie mentioned the CeraVe, I ordered up the 'oily skin' cleanser, the 'hydrating' cleanser plus the standard CeraVe moisturizing lotion. Our experience is that the "oily skin" version didn't work as well as the "hydrating cleanser" did (but that could be particular to your own skin type). I also bought the CeraVe "AM" and "PM" moisturizers as well. For my DH - the hydrating cleanser, plus the occasional swipe of ordinary CeraVe moisturizing lotion is what made his rosacea clear right up.

As for me, I love the CeraVe PM moisturizing lotion - it's best moisturizer I've ever tried, bar none. My DH hasn't tried it yet - preferring to stick with regular CeraVe hydrating cleanser and the occasional bit of regular CeraVe moisturizing lotion. His rosacea is pretty much gone from the use of basic CeraVe hydrating cleanser and applying ordinary CeraVe moisturizing lotion here and there.

So glad it helped! Here's to drugstore brands that *really* work! And extra special thanks to Angie for mentioning CeraVe in the first place.

Here's to calm and happy skin

Big THANKYOU to Velvetychocolate and this forum for leading me to CeraVe products!

After reading the post about 6 weeks ago, I went to our local pharmacy and straight to the SA at the makeup counter. This beautiful woman about my age knew exactly what I was talking about. The expensive product was n/a at the pharmacy (but she knew about it, and wished they could get it). CeraVe products were available, and so reasonable a price!

I have been plagued by rosacea for about 5 years, and it has been getting worse. I get red bumps that are small, sore pustules. Only meds (tetracycline) worked, but they were awful on my gut. I was just about ready to go back to the doc to get back on the meds when I read VC's post and went out to get the products. (Mr. VC's rosacea sounded like mine.)

Within 2 weeks my skin was clear of bumps, and the redness much reduced. Two weeks later I made it through the worst part of my cycle with only a very minor breakout of diminished duration. I'm not using any other cream or lotion and it is good for the lines on my face as well. 5 weeks on and I am very confident This product is working for me.

I used to feel bad about pulling my hair back, off my face, but not anymore!

Just had to say how grateful I am for your sharing of your experience with this product.
