I kind of had to train myself that the top of the lens is for far away and so on. I have similar coloring (but not your beautiful blue eyes) and recently got new glasses for birding. They are progressives. My husband went with me when I picked them up, and he looked freaked out, because they were black!!! However, I took some sunglasses that turned out to have the exact frame, and had them swap the lenses, so the sunglasses are in black, and the new birding glasses are in tortoiseshell. When I renewed my prescription last year, I ended up buying 4 different pairs for different tasks. My lovely SALT frames which YLF helped me choose, a pair of prescription sunglasses ( also progressives, but from Costco), and two different single vision frames, one mid distance for the computer and one distance for tv watching and night driving. I am very happy with all of them. </p> <p>If the blur doesn’t resolve 8n a day or two, take them back for testing.
