They are also sustainable, ethical, size inclusive, and I LOVE their stuff, which is 99% of the time impeccable quality. Sooooo I am hoping this was a COVID related quality challenge because they are my favourite retailer at the moment (to <b>unfrumped'</b>s point). FINGERS CROSSED.&nbsp;</p> <p>Yes, delivery has been slow, and I've also ordered items that never arrived - more COVID challenges. But Boden keeps on warning us and apologizing for that, so I am not frustrated about it. They always listen and want to help out. But we MUST get back to 100% impeccable quality.&nbsp;</p> <p>On that note, I've ordered these Boden items this year -&nbsp; flawless! I bought two Boden Effie dresses in the navy lemon print this summer, both in a 6 Long. </p> <p>The first one took so long to get me that I reordered and then ended up with two to compare. One was made in China, and the length was just below the knee (I’m only 5’5”) the material was slightly thinner, and the hem had a single row of stitching. </p> <p>The second dress was made in Portugal, was almost five inches longer (!) made of thicker material, and the hem was double-stitched. </p> <p>I left a review noting the differences, but it never appeared on the website. With pandemic, they seem to make a different distinction re: “ exchanges “ and returns.. It is maybe not the $ since I would pay it if had to- But I get frustrated about how to “ maneuver “ different retailers’ systems and whether I am more of a chump, if I “ return “ an item and re- order a different size, vs how to go on record as an exchange, if a company makes that distinction. It’s barely 37” long. I checked their measurement chart and it should be almost 41”. It’s 3-4 “ shorter than my other “Long” Boden dress. </p> <p>Tomorrow I’ll try to chat with Customer Service to see this seems hopefully a labeling error/ fluke and the Long size is supposed to be as in the chart, so can be replaced. I would be so bummed if they’ve actually shortened the fits! </p>
