Oh thanks to all!
I do like the jeans and think I could " wear now" even if I try some more roomy styles when I have time. These are 98% cotton instead of having a lot of stretch, and I like that.
Okay Beth Ann, the semi- tuck is winning, and I can probably use the Keds some for casual knocking around in shorts type wear, but not for the BF look. I think that is good advice.
Suz, the Guything that was offered in suede and leathers this winter looked much more flexible in the demo. I was so tempted. This one has a very rigid sole and hard leather. This is a Medium width, and ginormous in the heel as well.

I think semi-tuck makes all the difference here - it makes proportions better wit the same roll height.
I also prefer them rolled a bit higher with flats, especially that they are not very tapered... BUT I am very particular about BF jeans fit so here we go! :-)

The jeans look great - I like them rolled with a semi-tuck best. Too bad about the shoes, they are great looking, but the laceless sneakers look terrific!

That's a pity about the GuyThings. They are so nice-looking. I guess it is good news in a way...I can stop wishing for them. :)

I am with Beth Ann. My faves here are 4, 6, 9, and 10. 9/10 is especially pretty and fresh! I do think the slight wedge helps with the proportions overall, and the jeans look comfy and easy to wear! If they feel good, I'd say they're keepers. I think the Hardy sneaker is fun!

The jeans look great and the stylings are really nice too! My favorite shoes are the Roxy.

4, 6 and 9/10 are my faves. I love the Hardy sneakers. While I have a life-long love of Keds, I think they seem most modern these days with more refined silhouettes and aren't quite bold enough to anchor a BF based outfit -- just my 2 cents!

Don't you love the way the BF's open up new outfit combinations? And they're super comfy, too!

I love 10. It looks so fresh with the light contrast belt. I understand your comfort level though and think 9 looks good too. I really like the casual sneaks--the white and the grey Roxy. I'm not crazy about the Keds--they look kind of like gear to me but that's just my "read." It's hard to see the oxfords in 4 but they look like a good winter shoe. Love the slipper flats too. I like the higher roll on the BF's. I think you need one more roll in 7. The BF's look great--relaxed and stylish!

Possible BF candidate and summer shoe review. Lot of pics.Angie's tricks employed or not, with results.

J. Jill slim BF jean—same in all pics. Not slouchy or super relaxed,. I wanted to try a size up for comparison, but was not in store. I did not keep the Kut Catherine blue denim jean last year (kept the white). I actually really like these as a not-skinny slim jean, and I like the amount of taper.

Shown with footwear I already have and still like; to review:

1-2 Striped slipper flat—Loft sweater, CK blazer
3- Khaki Keds! So comfortable, but are they too...something ?
4--KC oxfords--love this style; look huge; sized for socks in winter. VC sweater
5-6 --Don Hardy sneaker. Still like! Too weirdo? AT silk shirt. Semi-tuck is more schtumpifying to me than untucked. Could try a blue or gray belt or self-color shoe.
7-8 Roxy laceless sneaker—a black& white stripe that I like because it reads kind of in-between as does #1. Topshop top.
9--Tan wedge with wide ankle strap—Etienne Aigner from TJM 2 years ago because they fit my foot shape, bunion-friendly, reasonably walkable. 10--Same sandal in coral !—was about to toss; maybe new life with BF. The cream belt, semi-tuck, and strap sandal are too much all together for me. Happier with low-contrast belt.

11--Bonus Stuart Weitzman Guything loafer in a two-tone. Strategy was mixing light and black to wear with nude hose and black skirt. Fit is wrong and they are as stiff as a board and not comfortable so not trying another size. But, I am keen on the style of the shaped vamp instead of straight high vamp.

I find I prefer a low-contrast belt with the BF's. The low rise with my long torso also poses top challenges--it takes a really long top to allow for bending etc and a couple of these barely make it.

Not styled for different rolled lenghts. I tend to like longer lengths. Can roll to low calf but too tight for higher--hence Angie noting cropped style needed for shorter stylings if tapered.

What say you? Too ice-cream cone for pear? Jean and shoe comments welcome.
