Just pull them down so that they are hanging off of your hip bones and you've got several inches of crotch "droppage" going on - and then they should be just fine! (You may need to wear a larger belt in order to get them belted once they are sitting on your hips - I had to buy all new belts for my BFs because my regular belts were all too small!)
