Try one size up with a belt too. The two sizes up - styled with a belt has great potential.

Will borrow a belt from my dad or the SO (although both options may make you laugh, one is a cowboy and the other was military) and try again for pictures this evening-- I have one on order, but it may be a week or more before I see it.

I agree that something isn't quite right, but I'm not sure where to go from here since I've already struck out with Big Star Joey jeans (a past Angie Rec) and Gap Sexy BFs, and TR Camerons and Levis men's jeans don't come any longer than the GAP or Big Star rejects. I wouldn't mind having a pair that is cropped, but for me this isn't the season to shop for them.

Do I size up 3 sizes in the Gap BFs? Won't that just mean that the waist is huge (the sexy BFs had a loose waist in my size)? Do I need to size up in a skinny? Won't that just exacerbate the tight thighs issue? Is there a brand that does a wider thigh fit? Could that be part of the problem--- I think part of the weirdness is coming from the jeans having curves built in?

Elly, I have to say I do not love these for you. The ones in your regular size are fab. The sized up ones don't quite look like bf jeans to me - they just look like they don't quite fit right.

Bf jeans are tough to find for the curvy.

I like the way they look in pictures 5&6 because they don't look TOO huge and they show your shape a little. In my (very) humble opinion--because I don't even own a pair of BFs--I think it's nice when full length baggy pants are just a little slimmer fitting, because you don't get the skin showing that rolling provides. I think rolling at the ankle enables you to wear a super-baggy pant more easily than when they're full-length. I'd like to see these with a proper belt and footwear to better decide the K/R, but they look promising!

All pics are of the same size, the 2x would be smaller but are not shown because of very snug thighs-- the 3x is bigger and what is shown here. I could pull these off without unbuttoning but could also wear without a belt without them falling down.

sexy BFs are ankle pants unrolled on me, and clamdiggers rolled-- plus I had the same "tight thighs" issue even 2 sizes up.

Not holding up-- more like cinching the extra waist fabric. All the pics are of the 3X! The 2X fit like my bootcut jeans in the behind and thigh, which kinda defeats the point.

Have you tried the Sexy BFs? I'm not sure this is a BF look, although that is defined very differently by everyone in the forum. I think they need to look more "slung" somehow.

Are you really holding up those pants with a shoelace?!? Prolly too big.

I like the 2x, though if you are going for the slightly lower crotch look then 3x. I wonder if tailoring the waist on the 3x will change how they hang low on the hips which seems to be the point if these pants.

I like the smaller of these jeans best (2-4) and always need a belt with sized up jeans. Have you tried sizing up in the Gap Always Skinny jeans?

I think these could totally work, Elly! It's a bit tough to tell without seeing them styled, but they're not without promise for what you are after.

So---- I really want a pair of FULL LENGTH BFs--- but I'm tall, and curvy. Someone on the forum suggested sizing up in skinnies---- so I ordered 2 pair of Gap Real Straight jeans in a lighter wash and 2x and 3x bigger than my regular size. The 2x are still snug in the thighs.

Obviously, the 3x bigger pair is big in the waist, probably somewhere between belting and tailoring territory.

Please let me know what you think--- I haven't had a pair of BFs on in years that actually came close to fitting so I'm having trouble juding if these are workable or the style is flattering at all.

The first few pics have a shoelace around them because I didn't have a belt that would ride that low, the others are without belt. The one picture is the straights in my normal size, for reference.
