Because it would probably fix the rise problem. There is also usually a bit of size difference otherwise in petites, if you compare two sizing charts.&nbsp; I often bought tall length pants in order to get the higher rise I wanted and I'm five feet tall. I just lopped six inches off the length and since my thighs are longer than my shins, the knee was usually in a good place.
