Nice tip, thanks! I like that the rise on these is higher, a lot of jeans give me muffin top.

Great jeans - look comfortable *and* skinny. Win-win!

@ Kari: Because sizing can range all over the place (what does "fits true to size *mean* anymore??) what I do is read through all the reviews for hints on how they fit. In this case, there is a wealth of info on size - the women give their height and weight, and what size worked for them. It should give you a yardstick. Certainly helped me!

How does the sizing work? I've never ordered anything that was in the 20-30ish measurement range. Do you measure based on your natural waist? Hips?

Woohoo! I have a pair in indigo and in black thanks to Shiny's recommendation some time back. Over a year on, I still love them. I find that I now wear them in favour of my premium denim because they are so ridiculously comfortable. The inseam is perfect for me as well - the only jeans I have that scrunch a bit!!!

I have these too! Mine are a medium wash, maybe from last year or the year before. They are my go-to skinny jeans.

It's so great to have a higher rise (though even these come up just shy of my belly button, and well below my natural waist). I do think the higher rise is coming back, so maybe there will be more choices out there!

I found my regular size to fit perfectly. I also bought a size down to try but I don't think I would have been able to get it over my knees...

Yeah - you're joing the BDG High Rise team!

If anyone else is wondering, their rise is much more comfortable for me, too, than Gap and there is enough spandex that I don't feel themstretching out either. I have black cigarette and some very faded vintage wash ankle length ones and some black regular length.

I ordered my regular size - choosing not to size down (I preferred not to have them fit like a second skin. . . )

The Gap ones everyone loves are too low rise for me so I had to go on a quest to find my own perfect pair. I'm crazy about these:

http://www.urbanoutfitters.com.....CH+RESULTS

I was terrified when I first opened the package because they looked so TINY and I did have to squeeze my way into them somewhat, but within minutes they molded to my body and have been perfect ever since. If you are tall you might like the inseam as well (I had to hem mine, of course). I have worn them a few times between washes and they never bag out and are always nice and soft. Might be worth a try if you are long in the rise, as I am.
