I was originally leaning toward the first one because it has the utilitarian look I was after. But when I tried them on, the taupe one seemed to define the waist better as Thistle, ruth and dianthus pointed out.....and it doesn't look so boxy.<br /> So....I will go against my original idea and stick with # 2.
