I've also been successfully redirected by the tailor, who I thought could fix it, to a shoe repair place to replace a missing rivet on my husbands button fly jeans. I think it was like ten dollars, maybe? I was heartbroken! They are at least 2 years old, but were my favorite jeans ever, an unusual twisted seam style. </p> <p>I went to my tailor, then to the alterations people at Nordstrom (where I purchased them), and no one could repair them because they couldn't take the rivet apart in order to put it back on the jeans.</p> <p>Out of desperation, and figuring I had nothing to lose since the jeans were headed for the trash, I mailed them to David Kahn with a letter, and today they arrived back on my doorstep, completely repaired with a brand-new copper button! Gotta love that kind of service. Thank you, David Kahn </p>
