You returned the boots and the Bernardo is a dead match to your eye. So I don’t think you would keep one without the other. The coat is potentially itchy so I think that went back. The Teddy is a no brainer with color and the interesting lining trim would make it seamless to my eye with your wardrobe. The bomber is really WWII boyfriend type of jacket. It has more swagger and attitude. In black, I feel that’s more in my wheelhouse - historical, rate, steampunk/renfair feel. That’s why I love putting these pieces with really classic tailoring the juxtaposition. The pieces are all wonderful but if you picked the most divergent for your style, the bomber is my guess. I’m the opposite of you in that I find trying to make things work and figuring out the perfect match to be mentally wearing . But that’s why you do what you do for a living and I don’t ! Lol! Those are beautiful boots and I see why you want to make them work , but brown footwear is tricky unless you take the opposite approach and wear them with a navy coat , a cream coat or a pale blue or pink coat and let the accessories come organically . I worry about the itchiness factor for the RL coat - don’t you find that once you feel it , it’s always there ? I do . </p>
