I've also had good luck with Caslon camisoles. The BP camisole, found in Nordstrom's junior department, also runs long and comes a wide variety of colors. For layering, I like the Caslon long-sleeved ribbed tee:

http://shop.nordstrom.com/S/30.....#038;pbo=6

It also comes in quite a few colors and holds it's shape.

Good luck!

I like the long tanks from ON, the Caslon camisoles from Nordstrom, the superfine turtlenecks from Gap, and the modern turtlenecks from Lands End. I don't know why I even bothered getting anything else!

Try the tall sections of Gap, Banana Republic, and J. Crew. Not everything they sell is in tall sizes, but the "tall" clothing adds a few inches to the rise, inseam, arm length, and lengthens the arm holes in woven tops. I can pass by with regular sizing on a few items, but I usually try to go online for tall sizes (I can usually find good prices that way too). If you find a top that fits the length of your torso but is a little long in the arms, you can always have it altered for a small fee.

I also have a defined waist, so I get camis that are very long so I can tuck them into my pants or skirts so they stay put. The Express camis Tanya posted are good, as are the ones Angie posted in her store! Good luck!

I am also very long waisted and also struggle with this, although it has been easier recently with the longer top trend. If you are not bothered by the self-bra ( i cut them out), Express makes great camis that are a bit longer in length:

http://www.express.com/catalog.....tegoryId=9

I am yet to find a good brand for button-down shirts that are long enough in body and arms, so will keep my eyes her eon this topic!

When I sew for myself, I am always adding 1 1/2 - 2 inches in the bodice. Anything off the rack that fits "just right" means it will shrink up and be a belly shirt in about 2 washes.

Any good brands for camis or tops? With camis, I find that skin tight does not work on me, as I have a defined waist, and even if it is technically long enough, the shirt will pop up and bunch around my waist after about 5 minutes wear.

Thanks!
