Yep, ruffles, padding and little details make your bust appear larger. I also suggest a print. Both of the suits I bought this year are prints and have padding, and they make me look like I have more up top.

I second the suggestions of ruffles, ruching and padding! If you're going for a triangle top I'd pick one that has a little build in foamy padding/lining.
I've seen ladies with small cups in bandeau top and it made them look even smaller.

I was thinking that as well; possibly trying a triangle top with ruffles such as the one below to see if that would give the illusion:

http://www.target.com/gp/detai.....B000WPW510

I'm surprised that Target is calling that second top a bandeau. It doesn't appear to be bandeau style to me. I think something with ruching or gathers and ruffles will make you look bigger busted. Watch out of anything too athletic looking--they have a tendency to smoosh your boobs into pancakes.

It's difficut to tell someone what kind of bathing suit top will look good on them w/out knowing more. Your bust isn't the only thing tha make or break a bathing suit. Your age and lifestyle will come into play too.

I think a bandeau top would have the opposite effect of what you're looking for. I'm a C-cup, and last year I sported a bandeau top. I found that the top actually made me look smaller.

if you want to enhance your bust, you might try looking for a top with underwire (if that's comfortable) and/or padding, perhaps in a traditional bikini cup styling. Alternatively, you may check out halter tops, like this:
http://www.target.com/Xhilarat.....038;page=1

I really don't know much about this subject, so I'm just speaking from experience. Two years ago my suit of choice was a halter, and my breasts were definitely more enhanced than with the bandeau.

Would you suggest more of a triangle top such as this one?

Unless you have perfectly north facing breasts, this is not the bikini direction I would suggest. You need a style that will cup the breast and show a little cleavage. Does that make sense?

I am seeing bandeau swim suit tops every where this season and I'm contemplating whether the style would suit my top half. I am a rectangle, more of a column with a small chest (B cup). I am looking for something that will give the illusion of a larger chest and from the looks of these tops, they may do the trick!

There are a few different styles of the bandeau tops though and I am wondering which one may give the illusion. I've included some examples below from Target. Do you think the first one with the the gathering in the middle and straps that go behind the neck, or the second one with the keyhole in the middle and straps that are more towards the shoulders?

http://www.target.com/gp/detai.....B000WPW6R8

http://www.target.com/gp/detai.....B000TKT5M0
