But I don't have very nicely shaped legs, so I'm much more particular about this than many people. I have fat inner knees (I know, but it's true) so I tend to try for a length that does not emphasize that. Sometimes it means actually choosing a length slightly at or below the knee, or a few inches above. It's trial and error. I have a couple of rolled-up-to-above-the-knee denim shorts, but they are a bit baggy, like boyfriend shorts. The length is most versatile for me at over 50, but on others I do like them shorter too. It depends on how tight the jeans are on your legs, too. The wrong cut-off length could be too tight on your thighs. I'd like shorter than a capri, longer than short-shorts, but the typical 5" inseam for shorts does me no favors. I'm thinking 7-10" &nbsp;might be my happy place. Thoughts? </p>
