Extrapolating from my waist measurements, I think the S could fit as small as a 20" waist. </p> <p>Because of the design, there's no excess overhang in the front.</p> <p>It's a little spendy at $58 (full price) but it seems fairly well made to me. ALL my belts are doctored. I either do the trick Louise shows (thanks Louise), or I take the belts to the cobbler for alteration. An adjustable belt works well too. Occasionally elastic does the trick too. </p> <p>Sometimes I buy in the kids and teens department, but that rules out anything sophisticated. Funnily enough, the more expensive you go, the smaller the belt.</p> <p>You could also wear your belt more hip slung. She has a tiny waist big bigger hips so belted waist looks just don't look the best for her.<br /> One option is to try stretchy belts and have additional holes put in.
