And there is enough going on in terms of pattern that a decorated belt seems to compete rather than to complement. I like it belted, but not with that belt, I think it needs a simpler belt without much embellishment since the top has enough textural pattern. The contrasting belt with butterfly clasp just seems too much. Others with a more educated eye to these tops will be better able to give you an opinion. I do like that the belt shortens the top, which seems too long without it.
