The cost was $8.70. He took the buckle off and cut the leather so there is not an ugly unfinished end. I have also had numerous holes punched in belts for no charge. Leather, vinyl or fabric?</p> <p>If it's leather or vinyl, I'd bring it to a cobbler. If it's fabric, I'd bring it to a tailor. I want to wear it as a cinch belt but it's way too big and there aren't enough holes, so even if I poked an extra hole, there would be so much excess hanging off. Can I have it cut down and get an extra hole added? Who does this sort of thing and about how much would it cost? </p>
