I've read about this but never related it to myself, but it has come to the fore in recent months - especially realizing how much more expressive I am at home without the (self-imposed) social pressure to 'make everyone happy'. I think I can use my humble tendencies for good here, by humbly recalling that <i>no one is thinking about me</i>, and claiming my space to do what makes me happy when it harms no one else - rather than trying to be so inoffensive to every possible perception that I disappear myself altogether.
