Less dramatic lashes, more brown mascara, sheer lip glosses and neutral tones. A little more colour on lips sometimes (a la Black Honey) but still sheer and pretty. Medium-long to long hair length with layers still rule the day according to my stylist (or long blunt cuts on younger women). Straight or curly and more love for natural textures. Center parts mostly, natural highlights, less exaggerated nails, etc. </p> <p>I tried pink honey and found it a little underwhelming on me. I have tried to do a smoky eye about twice in my life for special events, using Google on how to do it. I didn’t think it suited me, as I have aged my eyelids seem to have sort of sunken in? It seemed to make this more obvious and therefore unflattering.<br /> Funnily enough well after this in my reading about Kibbe soft gamine some sites specifically said smoky eyes were wrong for that type (which I think I am). So I will stick to my very minimal makeup. I switch up my part left/right, and very occasionally in the middle and pretend I’m trendy!</p> <p>I’ve been frustrated that my favourite hair clips and barrettes don’t seem to be made any longer. &nbsp;They’ve just completely disappeared off the shelves! &nbsp;The ones I find available now are hard for me to manipulate due to some finger/hand issues. &nbsp;<br /><b><br /></b>In 2020 I discovered a skincare line called Riversol at my pharmacy. &nbsp;It’s from a BC dermatologist and MADE IN CANADA. &nbsp;Spendy (very!) but I wait for customer appreciation days or senior discount days and get it 25-20% off. &nbsp;A little goes a long way, and I find it lasts a long time. &nbsp;I’ve ‘panned’ all my skincare products and now use only Cereve (face wash and body moisturizer) and Riversol serum and moisturizers. &nbsp;<b><br /></b></p> <p> <div><br /></div><div>I get my brows and lashes tinted every 6-8 weeks, and keep a natural full brow. &nbsp;I’m finding that the ends are thinning out or gone(!) so I use a brow pencil to fill in the ‘tail’, and I use mascara on my lashes. </p> <p>I’m looking for a lip product that is shiny/sheer - with a bit of light pink colour. &nbsp;I tried a lip balm that gave me just the look I wanted, but I hated the smell/taste. &nbsp;I’m currently using Clinique Pink Honey, but it’s not quite right. &nbsp;My lips are thin, and my upper lip has an indistinct shape. &nbsp;I just want a hint of colour and some shine. &nbsp;Still on the lookout for this HEWI.
