We were with a tour of 32 people that all knew each other in some way, and it was fantastic (good group, perfect warm weather...) We started out in Dublin traveling counterclockwise, including Northern Ireland. </p> <p>The trip was simply magical. After nearly 2 years of planning, it's so cool that we actually made it! Ireland was just beautiful, and the only disadvantage was that we did and saw so much that I wished we'd have had more time to spend getting to know each location. Knowth (we didn't make it to Newgrange), Giant's Causeway, a night at Dromoland Castle, a fabulous historical tour from Ronan McNamara in Derry, and an amazing concert by the Irish House Party in Dublin were particular highlights. B and a few guys on the trip got to golf at The Old Head due to connections to a club member, and B said it was absolutely breathtaking (his photos were amazing.)</p> <p>What a beautiful, hospitable country. Gorgeous </p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/beachy-blues#post-1010008 Wed, 21 Aug 2013 02:17:26 +0000 Kari 1010008@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>I haven't made it to a beach at all this summer unless you count the<a rel="nofollow" href="http://pencilskirtlife.lookfab.com/post/ireland-so-far"> Giants Causeway </a>or Cliffs of Moher&nbsp;in Ireland - and while they were absolutely breathtaking, we weren't anywhere near to a sandy beach where we could pop in for a swim. &nbsp;Hopefully next year we'll pop down to the Oregon Coast for some beach time.<br />Regardless, I felt like the shades of&nbsp;<a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.anthropologie.com/anthro/product/search/28650877.jsp?cm_vc=SEARCH_RESULTS">this Bailey 44 dress</a> evoke those cool beachy tones that I find so relaxing. &nbsp;</p> <p>This is a VERY unusual sighting for me - this dress has taupe AND pastel blue in it! &nbsp;Both of those shades typically make me look pasty and ill. &nbsp;However, I feel like the darker colors - the golden-brown, chocolate, and navy stripes - add enough contrast that I can pair the dress with other shades that I love. &nbsp;I immediately thought of my denim jacket &amp; copper handbag, or my cognac moto jacket. &nbsp;As it's still pretty warm but my office is pretty cool, I opted for the denim topper today. &nbsp;I added my trusty bone gladiator wedges, rose gold boyfriend watch,&nbsp;and marble pendant from Ireland. &nbsp;The latter, I love pairing with my favorite specs, as they are copper on the outside but green inside the frames.</p> <p>This Bailey 44&nbsp;dress, by the way, is every bit as awesome as the previous bandaid/column versions (I have the long sleeved stripe dress in eggplant and flame red.) &nbsp;The beautiful layered, moderate V-neck cut in front and in back of this version of the&nbsp;dress more than makes up for the cap sleeves in my opinion. &nbsp;I liked it so much that I actually <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.anthropologie.com/anthro/product/search/28758621.jsp?cm_vc=SEARCH_RESULTS">duplicated it in black</a> with tiny white dots, as I could see layering over that dress - and under it, with a tight-fitting black long sleeved tee - in the winter. </p>
