I can't believe the number of casualties was small for such a disaster. Just imagine--one minute to be eating your dinner or perhaps just arriving home, and a few minutes to have to run for your life. How terrible to lose a lifetime of accumulated memories, photos, not to mention computer files and financial information. It makes me grateful for being safe and sound in my own home.
