It included two sets of bangles, seeing as I had finally found some in a large size. My bones are big enough that the standard-issue bangles in stores won't get past my last set of knuckles. No potential for a gamine here.</p> <p>I was very pleased to find they worked, so I showed them off to hubby. I should have known better. He's allergic to bling in almost any form. "Nice if you want to look like a secretary," he said.</p> <p>Okay, we're on, buddy.</p> <p>A little later, he received an email including pictures of Kate Middleton, Christine Lagarde, and Jackie O wearing bangles.</p> <p>He conceded defeat. And said nothing whatsoever about my jewelry choices today, which I am dead certain went outside his comfort zone. Wise man, LOL.</p> <p>Good thing he compensates with lavish compliments in other areas, most of which I am not prepared to repeat in public... ;o) </p>
