Athleta is good for leggings, theyre opaque-no thongs needed. Definitely pricy, but leggings work hard!

Colette: The camisoles with lace that I trust are Hanro. They are recommended by Angie.

Things are coming together, but plan is not 100% executed yet.
I realized that what was actually needed was a 'family refresh' because sock matching was getting too cumbersome.

I threw out:
- All my daughter's coloured socks save a few backups.
- All my son's socks coloured socks save a few backups
- All my coloured socks save a few backups
- 2 nighties (I never wear them due to bunching)
- 3 pilled leggings
- 5 pieces of gear
- 2 camis

I bought:
- 16 pairs of socks. All the same for son and daughter.
- 8 pairs of daily underwear for daughter.
- 8 pairs of daily underwear for me.
- 1 yoga leggings, long
- 2 leggings (Mistake. Will give to daughter. Too small for me)

Things I still need to buy:
- jammies
- leggings (I'm sick of the hunt and will pay extra at Boden-- my time is valuable!)
- camisoles - stay tuned. I need to go through your links carefully. I did a bit of research and it looks like the only good camis with lace are the Hanros. I will splurge if I have to as lace is going to be part of my style. I know Angie really likes the Hanros.

smittie just another plug for Uniqlo. As I've mentioned elsewhere I'm a recent convert to their heattech line and am loving those camisoles for winter. I've bought one Airism camisole and plan to test it out on a warm-weather trip next month; if it proves successful I'll invest in a slew more for summer wear. (I wear a camisole virtually every day.)

I agree with you on thongs. If undies get bunched up and land there anyway, why not just start with a thin piece of fabric designed to lie right there? For yoga & other workouts, most of my leggings are capris, but I still don't shave. Focus, people, and not on other people's bodies! Camis...my favorite pretty one is made by mey. They have some at the price level you're looking for, and some for twice as much. https://www.mey.com/en/women/tops/ https://www.mey.com/en/sale/women/tops/ The Calida brand Angie has posted about is on sale right now. You should get a popup that lets you save 10% if you register https://www.calida.com/en-DE/S.....ort=vk+asc

I forgot I own a pair of CostCo leggings! Not sure which brands they carry or your prefer. But the Costco brand of leggings are anything but ankle length. I am 5'10, and they are long even for me. I probably could have 3-4" taken off bottom and still have them be a tiny bit long. Not sure if that helps? The quality is nice. Very thick and almost terry like interior. they do fade into a worn black shade. For comfort, lounging, etc. they are nice.

I’m following along for lace trimmed camis hopefully in cotton! I need a nude colored one or two since I edited my poly versions that were not cheap but pill and drive me nuts. Also my VPL-prone butt still needs thong undies too. I have a nice stash of hanky panky and soma that I only wear when absolutely necessary and baby in the laundry. And my preference for Yoga leggings is also ankle length for the same reason.

Kate - They're actually on sale for $5.90!

Do Canadians know if we can buy Uniqlo online? It looks like you might be able to through a mobile-only online store or app? So I'd have to order everything on my phone? ***I'm going to check right now***

ETA: I can order through uniqlo.com on my phone (via web browser) or via Uniqlo Canada app.

Camis are $15 in Canada though.

Sorry I can’t help you with lace-trimmed camis, Smittie. but for a non-lace version, I’m a big fan of Uniqlo’s Airism camis. Great fabric, a few color options beyond the basics, and $9.90 price.

Don't feel too let down! Target's quality feels cheaper to me than I ever remember it being, despite the prices recently having increased. (I am not spending $40-50+ for an ill-fitting polyester blouse that seems like it would melt when I perspire!) But yes, I haven't yet found camisoles to match those. I actually have saved mine. When I start sewing, I hope to recreate a version of them.

Not really sure, I'm sorry to say! My favorite (though non lace) camisoles ever where Target's Merono brand. They were 100% mid-weight jersey rayon.Truly fantastic. (They also had adjustable cami straps!) And now, the new version is cheap, thin (almost see through), and utterly worthless imo.

I love Costco for basics and I'm doing my run today! So I have to get my list sorted right NOW and buy what's available there first and then regroup.

This is my list:
- thong underwear - 6. Though, not popular with the forum, thongs are very good for this VPL-prone butt. (I need these for use with yoga leggings.)
- regular cotton underwear - 3 (I like the Costco Calvin Klein ones. This is what I can afford. Should I consider another brand at Costco?)
- camisoles - 6 but realistically, 3. I'll try the mall. I want lace straps.
- 2 nude, moulded cup bras, one with detachable straps.
- ankle length yoga leggings. 1 (Ankle length so I don't have to worry about shaving my legs ;-))
- jammies - 1. I haven't owned really winter jammies in 20 years. Costco's got me covered here.

What I need help with:
- Just wondering if you could recommend some inexpensive lace camisoles. Don't want to spend more than $15/ea. I don't mind ordering online as camis are pretty easy to fit.
