I won't be waiting on tables - there will be a server on the floor. But they are high tops anyway, so no serious bending over Comfortable shoes is the most important part of any work outfit. There was one year where we had to wear skirts at the catering hall I worked on, I did both waitressing and bartending, and felt so unconfortable when needing to bend over to put the drinks on the table.
