Your big beautiful eyes, fun bold glasses, amazing skin and gorgeous smile are the things that really catch our attention.</p> <p>Next week, I too will be wearing some plasters, as I will have "something" removed from my skin a couple of places in my face and a few places on my body. I need to do this once a year. My "somethings" have long Latin names--it doesn't matter. The important thing is that they are not cancer. Cancer has taken so many people who were dear to me. I am deeply grateful for each day that I don't have cancer or another fatal disease. My health issues are small compared to the complicated ones I am witnessing among dear friends who are fighting for their life. </p>
