I'm with Claire, I like the smaller size best. I like the bf fit to be just a little loose as opposed to having fabric that will bunch up a lot when I sit down.

Kate, they're boyfriends. (I think!)

MTB, I think the larger size is right. But everyone...I think fit on these may work a bit differently for pretty pears or hourglasses. Sveta mentioned that hers would not fall off on their own, and recalling my own days as a more extreme hourglass (and even NOW, when I verge pretty much on rectangle) they would have to be GINORMOUS ever to reach the falling off my hips (or rather, my bum) stage. Just doesn't happen to me with trousers unless they are, well, a lot more than one size up.

Rae sized up 2 sized on her sexy BFs.

I do think these can be tugged down a little towards the hip. But you might have to size up yet again to get the full effect.

I prefer the larger size, too, MTB, but in all honesty, I think what's throwing off my eye is the narrowness of the lower leg, even in the smaller size. Are these straight leg jeans?

It might help to try them on with a large belt too. So far my vote is for the smaller ones, but everyone has their own bagginess level. (Including my DH, lol.)

I agree with above 2 opinions! Lets see them hanging off of your hips!

Yep, Ceit is right - the size looks right but they need to be on your hips so you get a dropped crotch effect.

I like the larger size, but you need to push them down so the waist is hanging right at your hipbones (maybe an inch or two lower? I can't really see). That is how I wear mine, they are intentionally very very baggy.
