Bookmarking this thread, as I feel the same exact way! I like fitted waists, so I have a really hard time surrendering the waist with dolman sleeves and baggy/slouchy tops. Other people seem to rock this look but it makes me feel huge and frumpy. Even banded tops tend to make me feel large. But since I'm postpartum, I can't really do body con anymore without looking lumpy and pregnant. I'll be interested to see what everyone else suggests, but for me, I think I like printed tunic tops, draped tops and wrap/faux wrap tops. Also maybe try boxy silk blouses and linen shirts?
Hey y'all!

The weather is warming up and it's almost time for.... shorts! Noooooooooo!

I don't really do shorts. I like my bare legs ok from just above the knee and down but my over-40-and-doesn't-exercise-much thighs are just not for public consumption.

I'm tempted by the Gap shorts Angie put in the shop but I've not done baggy at all. I'm a total body con fan and generally feel super uncomfortable with surrendering my waist and so forth.

I have a very hourglass shape and am just very worried that I will feel enormous and shapeless in baggy shorts, jeans, boyfriend jeans, etc. What sort of tops do you think would let me explore the"relaxed" look (especially with long shorts) but still feel like I have an actual shape?
