Sarah, I can so empathize - I think this is my top fashion pet peeve right now. Maybe b/c most of what I own comes from Banana or Gap and all of their bottoms do this to me. The only way I can get around it is I buy a size down and I really don't like to do that b/c I want it to fit properly when I first put it on.

I've not completely warmed up to this look on me yet so I'm trying the waters with a pair I got from Target - their Merona line which in my opinion rivals the BR pair.
I haven't worn mine yet but they were $15 or less.

Macy's INC has a great pair in at the moment. So does Semantics at Nordies which I put it into the YLF store.

Also, if you find capris that fit really well, just have them hemmed to Bermuda length. My clients have been doing a lot of that this season.

I have a pair by Rafaella from Macy's. The material is a bit heavier weight, similar to suit material, and they did not bag at all by the end of the day. I found them mixed in with the suit section.

I know the problem you're talking about. I have that problem with many of Jcrew's pants. I just bought a pair of Kut from the Kloth bermudas. I wore them all day yesterday and they don't seem any baggier.

I pulled out my black bermudas after Angie's blog post http://youlookfab.com/2010/05/.....ss-casual/
and I'm afraid she's created a monster. A fluffy, friendly kind of course. ;)
I love this look and I want to wear it at least twice a week. It's already in the mid-90s here, and these have been a much-needed addition to my business casual wardrobe.
My only concern is that the ones I have bag in the bum SO MUCH (Banana Republic) and I have to wash them every time between wears. But even by the end of one day, my bum has bagged and sagged.
Any personal recommendations for dressy bermudas? Any brands you recommend? Fabric content?
