My Athleta jacket is a darker almost charcoal grey, and I like the idea of one piece that’s lighter-colored. I have a great Athleta jacket from a few years ago that I can still wear, but I am a size up from when I bought it, so I can’t layer under it the way I used to. </p> <p>I ordered this Angie pick in two colors. First of all, I do not agree with Angie that this runs roomy. Perhaps in smaller sizes or on more rectangle or IT-ish figures it does. But this is a M and just enough to fit over a long sleeve top plus a denim jacket, which is how I am wearing it in these photos. </p> <p>I could possibly go up to a L to accommodate hips with more room, but I expect the overall fit may be too roomy then. I can sit just fine in it, even fully zipped up.</p> <p>I believe it is flattering and suits the level of casual-ness I am seeking. I was all set to choose one color over the other without even trying them both on, but after putting them both on, I’m a bit more undecided. I will refrain from giving my color impression to see what you all think. I do like it. It’s quite comfortable with just a top underneath, but perhaps a little restrictive through the back with a bulky denim jacket added to the layering. </p> <p>What do you all think? Fit look ok? And which color do you prefer, if you think this is at least an 8+ in rating for me and my style? Or should I just wait and see what comes down the pike later on? </p>
